- Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana needs YOUR help! What can you do with one hour a week: Eat lunch with a friend? Go to one class? Watch 1/3 of a football game? Get a manicure or pedicure? Or you could change a life! Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) offers many mentoring programs (some of which require only an hour of your time each week!!) in which caring adult volunteers work one-on-one with a local youth. Programs are available during the day at many local schools, after school at the Boys & Girls Club (downtown), or on your own out in the community with your Little. Big Brothers Big Sisters' one-to-one mentoring makes a huge difference for the youth it serves. Research consistently demonstrates that BBBS mentoring helps at-risk youth overcome the many challenges they face. Be a friend. Be a mentor. Just be there. Contact BBBS of South Central Indiana at bbbs@bigsindiana.org or (812) 334-2828. (Link)
